01 Book Lovin Bitches Ebook Tours review: danann frost falls from grace by Joanne Valiukas

O welcome, pure-eyed Faith, white-handed Hope,
Thou hovering angel, girt with golden wings!
- John Milton, Comus

Danann Falls From Grace
Danann Frost is an Angel, a Seraph and belongs to the Light. Seth Riordan is a vampire and heir to the throne of the Ancient Province Kingdom of Connacht, County Galway, Ireland. they meet and fall in love. as a consequence, Danann is banished by the Archangel Uriel. she chooses to Fall From Grace for the sake of her Dark One. the next time they see each other, Seth tells her to go and not to come back. devastated and confused by the dismissal, she leaves Ireland for the New World. she befriends the vampire Asher and his kind take care of her. she is determined to reclaim the Light she lost and become an Angel once more. two hundred years later, however, Seth walks back into her life.
i loved how the novel progressed from the ancient to the modern world and how Danann had made a life of herself amidst her pain over Seth's rejection. i liked the fact that the vampires were not stereotyped as savage predators but ones who own businesses, have jobs, go shopping and even surf. i admired the author's creativity in describing Danann's punishment. it is certainly one of the most brilliant and original writing i have ever read.
Danann and Seth's reunion and its aftermath are the highlights of the book. i never thought that an angel and vampire would make for an explosive combination much less a story that kept me riveted to its pages.
i proved myself correct when i picked this book for my first Book Lovin' Bitches Ebook Tours review. Danann Falls From Grace is filled with fascinating characters and is pure enjoyment from start to finish. i smiled, laughed, frowned, felt sad and experienced a gamut of emotions. Joanne Valiukas's imagination has created a page-turner that kept me reading and reading and reading. when i reached the last page, i wanted more and with a sequel in sight, i hope to get my wish soon!
