28th 3rd sentence Thursday

Third Sentence Thursday

Sniffly Kitty hosts Third Sentence Thursday. according to Sniffly, it is "a weekly meme which may actually be built out of kitties!" i don't know what she means by it but i find it cute though.

how it goes:
1) find a  third sentence in your current read
2) post a link to your sentence here or if you don't have a blog, just post it in the comments!
4) visit some of the other blogs and see what 3rd sentence they chose to review
5) prepare for next week's 3rd Sentence Thursday meme

the third sentence:

"A hell of a lot more was going on here than one werewolf."
- Cursed Mates by Cara Marsi

my thoughts
what is it about small towns with names like Cornwall Coombe (in Thomas Tryon's Harvest Home) or   Heavensent (in this story) that appear so idyllic on the surface yet breed something dark within? it makes me rethink of doing cross-country trips in the future.

next week's meme: pick a third sentence then review it (funny or serious is up to you!)
