while i was trying to figure out how to transfer files via USB direct from the Kindle store, i accidentally uploaded this to my new Kindle (oh yes! it finally arrived!). anyway, i ended up staying up so late reading this until i was done. i enjoyed the author's new take on vampires, elementals and her protagonist who is searching for her lost soul. add in a Fae Hunter, heart-stopping scenes, some memorable supernatural characters and you have a unique blend of fantasy, adventure, romance and chills and thrills from start to finish! very well written too!

"A high pitched yowl echoed out of the back of the room. Drake set down the bag and iPad and pulled out his knife again. Tamsin bared her claws, heart pounding, ready for battle. Theo rolled by yelling, locked in a deadly embrace with what could only be a leopard."
