anniversary & give@way: i loved you first by Reena Jacobs

I Loved You First by author Reena Jacobs celebrates its first anniversary and the book has a new cover!

blurb:

Alexandria (Alex) Carmichael guards two secrets close to her heart. One―she’s in love with her best friend, Seth. Two―he’s gay.

As a freshman in college, Alex looks forward to fun times with her best friend. When Seth decides cycling through girlfriends is the way to fit in with the straight crowd, Alex must make a choice: watch Seth give his affection to another while her heart breaks or come clean with her feelings and risk losing his friendship forever.

I LOVED YOU FIRST is a new adult love story told through the eyes of Alex, an African-American/Caucasian student, who takes a journey of self-discovery while watching her best friend come to terms with his sexuality.

  1. My most favourite college love story is that of Oliver and Jenny in Erich Seagel's Love Story. Aww! That one is so nice. :)

  13. I haven't read Anna and the French Kiss... yet ;) I Loved You First, of course is one of my favorites, but since I'm a paranormal junkie I have to mention the Morganville Vampire series. *sigh*

  14. My head is totally blank! Did I even read a college love story?! I can only think of high school ones and later-in-life ones... I think my trying other genres went for far too long xD

  15. This sounds like a great read. As for my favourite college love story, I don't think I have any; this will be the first. :)

  17. My favorite college love story is Easy by Tammara Webber. It's a self-published book that deserves to find its way into a hardcover format. I gave it 5 stars because it's truly rare I get so attached to characters, but damn, did I get attached to the characters in Easy.

  18. I tend to get stuck in genres also. :) Went through a romance phase, thriller phase (scared the mess out of me some days), paranormal romance phase... and the list goes on. :)

Thank you again for being such a wonderful tour host, AO!

  19. I keep hearing Anna and the French Kiss is the book to read. I'm giving in and adding it to my reading list. I hate being out of the loop. :)

Being the psychology major and all, Psych Major Syndrome definitely is on my radar. I'd never heard of it before. That'll go on my special list so I don't forget about it.
